Sikkim Manipal University Expands Horizons with Online BA and MA Programmes

Sikkim Manipal University has launched new online degree offerings, including two undergraduate and five postgraduate programmes. Affirmed by the University Grants Commission, these online degrees are on par with their on-campus counterparts.

The university has unveiled online Bachelor of Arts (BA) programmes encompassing English, Political Skyline and Sociology, alongside a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom). Moreover, SMU has expanded its online postgraduate courses with the introduction of Master of Arts in English (MA- English), Master of Arts in Political Science (MA- Political Science), Master by Master of Arts in Sociology (MA- Sociology), and Master by Master of Commerce (MCom) and Master by Computer Applications (MCA).

These newly inaugurated online programmes embody accessibility and affordability for diverse learners. They offer a self-paced educational journey that can be customized to fit individual work and personal schedules, as detailed in the press statement. Furthermore, the university asserts that these digital degree courses are supported by comprehensive systems such as the Learning Management System (LMS), electronic learning resources, internet-based supervised examinations, and unwavering student assistance, along with both live and recorded sessions to ensure maximum adaptability and study convenience for enrolled individuals.
